Ok...we did not play our best game when we needed to. But for the love of all that is Holy...Hansbrough (or however you spell it) gets away with with murder out there. So many hacks and no calls.
And the game announcers...I really think they are hot for him. I have never heard so much gushing about someone.
And if anyone wants to argue that this was not a home game for Carolina...kiss my ass...we can go outside and fight.
I'm not kidding.
3 games, 3 convincing wins. Now we face North Carolina for a shot at another Final 4. Can we beat them? Sure! Will we beat them? I hope so!
Regardless, it's been great fun watching this team the entire season. If only we had Padgett and Palacios for the whole time...? Wow...what it could have been? No matter...whether we're a 1 seed or a 3...we're in the hunt for another shot at the prize. We're peaking at the perfect time.
I would not want to play us right now.

I am constantly receiving emails regarding chips..I love it. The past week or so, I've been exchanging mails with a collector who is interested in Derby chips...one of my passions/specialties. After letting him know that I would not sell any of mine, I promised to keep an eye out for him in case something popped up.
It didn't take long for 2 chips on his "want" list to surface, so I mailed him quickly. A quick flurry of emails were fired back and forth, talking prices and so on. One of the chips was at a real nice opening bid and I was considering going for it but I noticed that it had 1 bid. I mailed him once more to inquire about his eBay handle. I let him know that I didn't want to compete with him if that was his bid...kind of an unwritten rule of mine not to try to snake a chip from someone I've been in contact with regarding that very chip.
It turns out that he indeed have the bid so I watched the action as a spectator.
He won the chip.
We then churned out a few more mails...he lives in L.A., close to Santa Anita, and Denny Crum was his father's high school B-ball coach! Small world isn't it?
...3 months ago, that U Of L would be 24-6 and playing for the Big East Championship...I would have asked you to share the dope you were smoking. But here they are, my beloved Cards...playing the best TEAM ball I have seen from a U of L club in a long time. Granted, the 'Cisco and Dean (2005) Show a few years back was special but the the game ran through those guys so much. This team has so many interchangeable parts, can play any style, guard any style, and flat out wear a team down by continously throwing fresh bodies at them. It is a joy to watch.
Allright boys, you have 5 days to prepare for Georgetown. Get rested and ready to spank those Hoyas and nab the Season Championship and the #1 seed in the Conference Tourney!
